Step-by-step route

1. Release flips slightly early. Aim to land in the centre of each platform with minimal forward momentum.
2. Stop inputting after you land. Extra movement on ice slides you off; let yourself settle before the next flip.
3. Use the speed burst sparingly. Too much speed plus ice equals an unrecoverable slide. Burst only for genuine long gaps.
4. Plan two flips ahead so you are never forced into a rushed landing on a slick platform.
5. Grab orbs on solid footing only. Never slide toward a Flip-Orb and risk the edge.

Landing technique on ice

The whole section is a lesson in momentum management. Where other sections forgive a late release, ice does not — a long landing keeps sliding. So adjust your backflip timing here specifically:

• Release a touch earlier than your instinct says.
• Target the centre of the platform, leaving slide room on all sides.
• Keep your hands still on landing; resist the urge to immediately move.

If you keep sliding off, you are landing too far forward. Pull your release earlier and aim shorter. On ice, “short and centred” beats “long and stylish” every time.
